Our History
How the Idea Came About
We are a couple in love with the sea. We met on a boat, Tango I, and after many years working professionally in other sectors like hotel management or aviation, we decided to turn our passion into our way of life.What Motivated Us
From our first day together, we dedicated all our leisure time, along with family and friends, to sailing the Atlantic Ocean, visiting our coves like Masca, Armeñime, or enjoying Los Gigantes Cliffs, Montaña Roja, or Montaña Amarilla from the sea. The joy felt by our loved ones made us imagine that we could extend it to all our visitors and those who live on the island, often overlooking the sea, without knowing the ocean’s wonders.Our Proposal
What Else We Offer
Our love for healthy fun and outdoor sports led us to include, at no extra cost, and as a gesture towards our clients, water toys like towable donuts, skis, wakeboard, paddle surf, and sports fishing equipment… (but always under the client’s responsibility).Our Environmental Concern
What characterizes us is our respect for the environment; for this reason, all our boats have a small net with an extendable pole to collect plastics and other debris floating in the sea. When we sail, we pay close attention to our surroundings and have sometimes rescued turtles trapped in floating plastics (see video). Although we are aware that engines can emit certain residues into the sea, our boats undergo monthly mechanical inspections to ensure they do not lose fuel unnecessarily; also, when the boats get older, we sell them to individuals for personal use and replace them with new, cleaner boats. Concerned about chemical discharge into the sea, we have purchased a Kangen water system; for those unfamiliar with it, this system can change the water’s pH, producing alkaline water suitable for human consumption (with many beneficial properties), highly alkaline water as a natural degreaser, and very acidic water that disinfects like bleach but without contamination. We understand that we must deliver perfectly clean and disinfected boats, but using chemical products that end up in the sea is not the right solution; we owe respect to the ocean and do everything we can to protect it.Alfred & Mónica
